Recently I shared my reading from 2016 where I explored the energies and patterns surfacing around Donald J Trump. I used the Quareia Magician’s Deck and Mystical Map layout. Now, I’m going to share same reading, same layout, redone 8 years later. I took time to consider this before posting as I wanted to let it sink in rather before writing about it.
In the first reading I talked about the Foundation Stone and its importance in setting a type of anchor when DJT won the 2016 election. In the present day reading, the same card returns as the “main topic”, this time paired with The Oracle. Combined with a few other cards in the spread, the result showed a person who truly believes they are on a mission inspired by god(s) to establish a new foundation/order.
Other cards indicated that a path of healing has not been chosen by this individual, nor will it be. The reading further revealed that this is a person who has in fact tapped into some level of psychic or energetic power and taken that as a sign that they are chosen to deliver their message outwardly instead of reflect within. In magical terms, this is rather immature and typical of early stages of development.
Here’s where it gets interesting. The power dynamics set up are… a person feeling their need to wield power and change, which then constantly triggers an energy called The Abyss, which in turn triggers an energy called The Elders. To make it clear, it creates a cycle of pushing things to the brink, followed by a counter energy of wisdom or something “older” that says no.
In the near future was the Threshold Guardian. This signifies a person who is aiming to cross thresholds of experience and in this reading in particular, it’s a very driving force. No surprise there.
Now the balance to all this? We have two energies called the Imprisoner and the Bailif, powerfully placed. The Imprisoner is an energy that literally imprisons or restricts and this was on the outcome position. The Bailif brings us what is due, in terms of loss, repercussions and pain. This is the energy flowing from the spirit world in his direction.
How I read this is: yes he has gained and consolidated power and feels he has a divine agenda. Yes he will push things to the brink repeatedly. No he will not succeed in tearing it all apart. Mystically speaking, this is so interesting because we are all going to get to experience the energy of “the Abyss” repeatedly, and be triggered in our own response to this. To awaken our own journey with power dynamics. Threshold guardian can also signify someone who is used as a chess piece on the board.
I see the current events unfolding in our world as part of a larger cycle of endings and beginnings, and I think it would have happened one way or another. To step back and look at it mystically, we see that perfect pieces are on the board to trigger new patterns. How we all respond to it is part of the collective experience now. Kind of like — it’s not happening to you, but “for you”. You don’t know how you respond to the Abyss until you are on the edge, but those experiences are often what awaken us to a deeper healing or calling.
When we come back to the Foundation Stone, I see this situation as… it is a change, but it’s not one person or group who is going to control that change. They may be an instrument (a dark one perhaps), but we all get to decide how we respond, and those collective choices will ultimately shape this new era of humanity. It’s Plutionian. And potent. And a lot is on offer, so we all have to think, feel and consider our actions – not only reactions
